RE: darkstar honest?IMO the gifts have gone in the other direction. Kip Ferguson at Sharon, and his small crew, are the "sine qua non" of this whole Texas play. They generated the prospects, they leased up the acreage. Bobby L. just provided some seed capital and a vehicle by which Kip could do his thing.
If Sharon and Diaz were really acting at arms length, Diaz would be paying Sharon a hefty promote to get a piece of Sharon's plays. Instead, Diaz always gets a piece of Sharon's plays on a heads up basis. Whenever Sharon farms into one of Diaz' Canadian plays, they pay a third for a quarter promote or something similar, as far as I can tell.
I hope that Bobby L. has the brains to realize how critical Kip is to this whole process, and causes Sharon to grant him some more stock options. We want the golden handcuffs to be firmly placed on Kip at this time.
