Politics in EcuadorThe article some have posted on here about tribes being upset is somewhat blown out of proportion. The article posted was written by a person who actually has a business by raising money for these tribes and thus takes a cut.
The fact is President Correa has a very high approval rating and will be in power until at least 2017. He has said on multiple occasions that he wants the country's resources extracted and has gone as far as to inprison those who try to interfere.
I'm happy he's not my leader, but from a business perspective I'll take him over any leader in Africa.
