RE:RE:GOLD + ECUADOR - MUST BELIEVE IN BOTH TO BE INTO EGX?BrendanC thanks for the response and you make some good points all round - I think Ecuador is an emerging place (hopefully!)
The one thing I want to correct is that you seem to think EGX is cheaper because its share is $0.07 and INV is $0.26... But INV just has 5 times less shares outstanding (50,000,000 shares total compared to EGX 250,000,000 shares) meaning that INV has a cheaper market cap than EGX when the comparison is done right ($0.26/5= $0.052)
In fact - INV share was just restructured 10 for 1 so the same INV $0.03 stock is now $0.30 but no difference in value
And it's good you like EGX management because its an important thing for these kinds of companies - Do you know of any big successes they've had before? I see Plains Creek Phosphate in their track record which doesn't look like it was a great success.... The other thing is that the EGX team looks like they're not just doing EGX - It looks like they are also running another gold company in Nevada called Phoenix Gold? Is that true??
