Electra Battery Materials Corp. V.ELBM

Alternate Symbol(s):  ELBM

Electra is building North America’s only fully integrated, localized and environmentally sustainable battery materials park, which will host cobalt and nickel sulfate production plants, a large-scale lithium-ion battery recycling facility, and battery precursor materials production, to become a reliable supplier to both North American and global EV and battery supply chains.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:So

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:SoI meant to chime in o  this earlier as i reread that release but glad someone picked up on it. CIM and NI 43101 Feasibility studies are for mineral extraction projects. For mineral extraction you are presenting an NPV and Life of mine based on an estimate of what is in the ground. That NPV is meaningless unless you can prove that you have the resources to feed said mill in said way for said period. NI 43101 is the standard you are held to to demonstrate your proven, probable and inferred resources in the ground. That study FCC released was based on a known feedstock coming from a third party, it wasn't coming from the ground, there is no risk to it in that way, the quantity is known, therefore no reason to qualify for CIM or NI43101 study parameters. This project is derisked even more than a typical one in that way.... Now there are other risks of course dealing with a ruthless major player like GC but the point about the study is a moot one IMHO
