RE:New Stockhouse functionality

RE:New Stockhouse functionalityWelcome to Stockhouse.  They will never stop the spam.  It's an accepted practice that is embedded in their business marketing model. Spam is a form of free advertising that they can promote to attract small busineses to use their services.  Sounds a little twisted but give it some thought.
We are all targetted every day by a variety of software services trying to sell us something. I know I may sound a little paranoid, but it's fact and part of our new reality. I've lost count on how many emails I receive every day after visiting a variety of sites in search of information on stocks I'm interested in.  Stockhouse is no different. Spam sources will target boards that appear popular and possibly individuals that have a following.  I'm sure algorythms have been written for this purpose.
Netflix have some pretty good shows on this subject.
