Electra Battery Materials Corp. V.ELBM

Alternate Symbol(s):  ELBM

Electra is building North America’s only fully integrated, localized and environmentally sustainable battery materials park, which will host cobalt and nickel sulfate production plants, a large-scale lithium-ion battery recycling facility, and battery precursor materials production, to become a reliable supplier to both North American and global EV and battery supply chains.

RE:RE:RE:Just wanted to add WernerDMany thanks for further defining your position and your kind words. I believe we may be thinking along parallel lines. I, too, have come to believe that the laser focus on EV batteries misses the larger picture for cobalt going forward.  Recognizing that many private investors have probably been drawn to FC through the excitement surrounding EV batteries...it is understandable that there may be some hesitantly to hold or add to positions if one is unnerved by talk of migration away from cobalt.
Yet, as you point out...Even absent increasing cobalt demand for batteries, there remains a critical need for cobalt in a host of applications. Geopolitical gamesmanship and tensions resulting from access and control of strategic supplies, should continue to make FC worthy of attention..
