Electra Battery Materials Corp. V.ELBM

Alternate Symbol(s):  ELBM

Electra is building North America’s only fully integrated, localized and environmentally sustainable battery materials park, which will host cobalt and nickel sulfate production plants, a large-scale lithium-ion battery recycling facility, and battery precursor materials production, to become a reliable supplier to both North American and global EV and battery supply chains.

RE:Missing the point

RE:Missing the point

I have never been a fan of government loans and grants for business. Sometimes it can be a good thing especially for mandated change. But it's side effects are a bad thing, encouraging in accountability and further scrutiny. Time will tell if first cobalt will be self sufficient or will require a seat at the ever increasing federal feed trough.

Demand for the product and services that fcc will eventually provide will be robust. Especially within the recycling, mining and metals space. Having said that there are targets for the fcc management team to hit. The general market is under a fair amount of pressure right now and intern with real inflation at extreme highs government pressure will start soon enough. This will be a tough year for most parties. All the more need to let the fcc team hit targets, personally I will evaluate them on performance.
