Guard change

Just wondering....how good is FC management? Should they stay .. w/abysmal results thus far? Maybe
someone else who can get things done
should take over... and TM should start an EV magazine.

You pose an interesting question Goldfather.  Most of us are only too familiar with an annual, perhaps even semiannual review.  Metrics of achievement compared to aspirational and strategic goals set earlier. Hmmm...what metrics of achievement has FCC management successfully satisfied so far this year? Not saying there hasn't been achievement gains...just think it might be ...more

Very well said NB. Your elaboration is quite professionally described. Since they purchased the Refinery , what have they really accomplished ? Yes, lots of testing.....on the "only Co Refinery in NA"....yes brought in GC, but GC needs "NA's only Refinery" anyway. So not such an accomplishment...... and unfortunately I've been a bag-holder here 3 years. What have they ...more

Good morning all. I just wanted to thank you goldfather for asking the question about first Cobalt corporations management team. You will be happy to learn that Trent Mell has an outstanding background and you can find the information on the management team at first Cobalt corporation on the junior Minor's Network. He has an outstanding career of building companies and is a former Bay Street ...more

Good morning again all. As a follow-up, after research, I learned that Trent Mell compensation for managing first Cobalt corporation is 283,977 annually according to Wallmine.Ca. Trent has a history of of outstanding results with former employees like Barrick. We are well served indeed :-) have a great day all.

Thanks, Goatburner, for pointing out to newbies here where to find background credentials for the FCC management team. Impressive, for sure. But, perhaps you may be misinterpreting the question that Goldfather was posing.  Credentials are one thing... "performance" is another, though they are often closely correlated.  if I understand correctly, I think Goldfather was merely ...more

Thanks NB... good points.... and to you Goat- man, I agree TM has an impressive resume and background. I focused on that 3 years ago when I bought in here. Flashy BOD creds as well. BUT, my point is what have they done here at FC ?  Here today, not yesterday at another venue/company.    My post had over 100 reads and hardly anyone even responded . We have 420 million shares , only ...more

Hi Goldfather. I think you have a great investment here with FCC, although you were too early buying in 3 years ago. But that is a sign that you are a forward thinker, a savvy investor perhaps. Trent and his team have accomplished everything that they can which is within their control. They are managing costs and leveraging their assets. Remember, some things are out of their control, like ...more

I believe management has set the stage for the EV and SEV evolution for years to come.  There's  Glencore who will eventually send the orders in for production from the cobalt in the DRC.  Ford and Chrysler will want product from us too  and they will ship their cobalt in from  the Idaho's assets.  The silver portfolio FC has might just pay their way for ...more

Well stated. No reason to believe anything evil is happening here. Im three years in BIG and would love a pay day. Let's all stop yelling at the bud to bloom! (Pot to boil?)

(G)Oldfather, do you want to ask Elon if he wants to do FCC's management job?
