Who is CURTIS WALLACE.....from LinkedinHis experience I ( Curtis Wallace) have been studying and growing Cannabis for over 15 years and was originally licensed to cultivate (for personal use and patients) under Health Canadas first legislative framework called the MMAR (Marihuana for Medical Access Regulations). In 2014 this changed to the MMPR (Marijuana for Medical Purposes Regulations) which allowed for companies (known as Licensed Producers, or LPs) to cultivate and sell cannabis flower and oil to medical patients. It was under this framework I began my experience to learn and develop processes under strict government guidelines while managing cultivation operations in greenhouses. Since 2016 I have consulted for several LPs in various stages of licensing and expansions in greenhouse, indoor, and outdoor environments. Areas of Expertise and Accomplishments: Facility design (security, mechanical, irrigation, climate control, breeding, propagation, mothers, vegetation, flowering, harvest, drying, trim, packaging, storage, sanitation). Construction management. Purpose-built or retrofit. Extensive experience growing in greenhouses year-round. Oversaw the design, planning, construction, implementation, management and processing of one of the first LP licensed outdoor grows in Canada on 30 acres. Cultivation management comfortable managing 300+ workers. Cultivation scheduling and projections providing upper management with cultivation cycles consisting of timing from propagation to packaging while projecting yields consisting of all grades of product. Developing cultivation processes to maximize productivity without sacrificing quality. Assisting Quality Assurance departments with SOPs. Developing mechanical requirements for cultivation areas (HVAC, dehumidification, airflow, air exchanges, air filtration, ventilation). In-depth understanding of various growing practices and mediums (rockwool, coco, aeroponics, soilless mix, organic, deep water culture). Overseeing Mother rooms to maximize clone output numbers while keeping genetics consistently healthy. Developing propagation processes to ensure heathy, robust clones. Developing strategies to reduce vegetative time prior to flowering and increase annual flowering cycles. Developing flowering strategies and processes to increase canopy yield and flower quality. A sound understanding and implementation of KPIs when it comes to cultivation labor. Risk management and preventative procedures for optimal plant health. A firm understanding of irrigation recipes, strategies and cycles for various growing mediums and environments.
