You are simply wrong and the correct info was given to you. In the cannabis sector, net revenue means minus the excise taxes. For the proof just go to any of their filings or any filing of any cannabis company for that matter:

Page 6 of annual audited financials
Revenue 23,081,359
Excise taxes (2,261,179)
Revenue, net 20,820,180

You are confusing revenue with income.
