Happily, entitities such as alchohol, tobacco and cannabis indeed experience government oversight to protect the health and wealth of the individual and investor.

All other sectors are subject to subject to substantial scrutiny in Canada as well, ceratinly in comparison to the investment anarchy in the U.S. with it's defanged SEC.

The scrutiny ensures the integrity of the investment and does not diminish reward potential moving forward as all participants in the sector are subject to the same guidelines..
