Lawyers don't lose cases

Clients do. That is a tenent of law firms.
Anyone wishing to engage in litigation will always be able to find a lawyer who is prepared to take the case. But, time to a lawyer is calculated in billing dockets and somehwere along the line they want paying, unless the case is obviously egregious like Bhopal where 3700  died. Which took 5 years to settle.
This is an abulance chaser case IMO.
I was thrilled to find the write down did so little to the SP. Obviously, George knows what he is doing.

Exactly.  My guess, they follow news releases such as these, then come stock opening, they wait to see if they have a case.  It started bad this morning, quickly dropping 15%, it could have gone either way.  Since it remained stable, I doubt they'd bother pursuing a case at this time, since substantial losses would be hard to prove.

once a company annoys me with something like this I am out and don't look back, i don't care if they double next week, there are plenty of other stocks, and if a lawyer can put some money in my pocket, i'll take it

The chances of a getting money froma lawyer is unlikely Charlie. As the old joke goes, "I saw a lawyer yesterday with his hands in his own pocket!"   I am sure your presence here will be sadly missed.
