In South Africa, it holds two offshore petroleum licenses in South Africa, being petroleum exploration license number 2B (the 2B Block) and petroleum exploration license number 3B/4B (the 3B/4B Block).

Jethro vs Hammerhead

As with my previous post looked up some old info on these two blocks to confirm if my memory was correct and that they are similar plays.

Jethro
Water Depth - 1350M
Well Depth - 4400M

Hammerhead
Water Depth - 1150M
Well Depth - 4225M

Jethro is actually in slightly deeper water, and drilled just a little bit further. Not sure exactly how close they are to each other, but looking at a map I'd guess 20-25km apart.You can see why I would think they are similar plays.
