Cretaceous target and proven track partner

In light of today's news it will be interesting to see if a serious partner shows up in a not too distant future. I think the proximity of Stabroek could help and it sure might be a good opportunity for Total to step in big time and increase its interest in two 2 high potential neigboor blocks. As recently seen with Frontera and CGX, in order to succeed players in this area have to have ultra deep pockets. Since Guyana is already a playground for Supermajors maybe it's time for Total to join the party more actively ?

At this stage of the game, as part of a strategic approach and given current landscape I humbly think that Kanuku and Orinduick blocks are natural fits for Total.

After snapping Orinduick and Kunaku blocks, Total might even be able to step in Corentyne block and replace a weak player.  The larger picture is a no brainer & could have the potential of a huge production field, which would perfectly be in line with Guyana oil development goals.... World Super Majors firing up on all cylinders !
