Regarding Article

The article is from 2020.  I wonder what the US Geological estimates were back 10 or 15 years ago.  I see the share price is staying real constant here at 0.165 to 0.17.  Maybe there is more recoverable oil and gas than what they estimate.

I remember investing in Canadian Overseas Petroleum back about 2017 or 2018.  This broker said that Exxon Mobil was targeting 4 to 5 billion barrels of oil off of Cameroon or some other nation.  Instead of oil they hit water.  That happened in Somalia too with another explorer that was a sister company of Africa Oil.  I cannot even remember the name of the company, but eventually it became Africa Energy Corporation.

I would like to see someone find oil that was way in excess of the IEA or US Geological estimates.

The USGS had estimated the Guyana Surinam Basin to contain 13.6bb of oil. Currently have over 15bb discovered with lots of prospects still to be tested. I wouldn't be surprised to see double the USGS estimates by the time all discoveries are made. Not sure if you consider that way in excess, but it is getting up there. https://oilnow.gy/featured/u-s-geological-survey-may-have-grossly ...more
