RE:Well....If I recall correctly, the article is from last year. Chief Bellerose, I believe, was talking about the summer of 2016. We are, it seems, always too optomistic about the time line for the project. However, the trend seems to be always forward and the latest press release is awesome. The negotiators aren't playing games.
This will be huge when the trading company starts making deliveries. Even if they get a 5 or 10% commission on the sales, that's a lot of money coming into Encanto and partners. Anyone who says they can do it or can't raise the money should re-examine what they have already accomplished. One of the factors involved in the contracts is "CAN THE PARTIES DELIVER ON THEIR AGREEMENTS|". The banks and companies in India would never have let it get this far unless they KNEW that Encanto could deliver the potash!
We're in the money....once the canadian government signs the paperwork for ownership of the potash we will see more rapid development, I think. The mine is not the primary goal right now. It's the trading company that will bring the money.
