46 Billion Reasons...
I saw on the news last night that the Feds, and Doug Ford's government, have committed to a combined total of $46 billion in subsidies to developing the EV sector in Canada.
We, along with the US and Europe, are at the beginning of an EV trade war with China. The Feds need to pony up support for companies like E3. I predict the Feds will kick in a few hundred million $ aroos to help E3 build a plant. As a country, we can't afford to be at the mercy of China for our lithium.

I would be very cautious accepting federal money under this federal leadership. Everything they touch gets pretty messy or wasteful. I would be ok under a Conservative leadership and majority.

Now seeing the Europeans backing off n even mothballing some of their battery plants, why aren't the Ford n Grit gov't.s smart enough to understand the EV market is not going to take away the ICE market by 2030!!! jmo UNKLAL

I agree. EV adoption will be ramping up. You are bang on with the hybrid purchases coming first. I have a family member, and a friend, who have bought hybrids in the last 3-4 months. It's the way to go, until the infrastructure is up to snuff. That's what I'd buy too, if I was in the market.

The ICE market isn't going away, for sure. But just as for sure, IMO, the EV market is here to stay. Time to start buying back some of those 250,000 shares IMO ;-) GLTA

Roger that. JT will be gone come 2025, TG. What a disaster. Glad to hear you still have a ticket (n shares). It's hard to say which way this play will turn, but it's an interesting play, that's for sure. Much better quality than 99% of the junk on the TSX Venture Exchange.
