Anyway, even if Google's translation skills were much better than they are, it wouldn't help - the real problem here is that you copied&pasted to Google Translate only the 2nd part of the article and (intentionally) left out its first and most important part.
The title, to begin with, says:
"Ministerstvo nepredĺžilo lehotu na geologický prieskum v oblasti Jahodná", i.e. "The ministry didn't extend the period for geological exploration in the Jahodná area"
Then, there's the subtitle:
"Rezort životného prostredia zamietol žiadosť Ludoviky Energy o pokračovanie prieskumu.", i.e. "The ministry of environment rejected the request of Ludovika Energy to continue with the exploration"
And the 1st paragraph:
"KOŠICE. Podľa informácií Korzára už firma Ludovika Energy nedostane ďalších desať rokov na prieskum v lokalite Jahodná – Kurišková pri Košiciach. V piatok nám to potvrdil hovorca Ministerstva životného prostredia (MŽP) Maroš Stano."
which means
"KOŠICE. According to the information of Korzár daily, the Ludovika Energy company will not be granted 10 more years for exploration in the Jahodná-Kurišková area near Košice. On Friday the information was confirmed by the spokesman of the ministry of environment Maroš Stano."
The licence extension has been refused - there's no doubt about it. Probably the information will turn up later also in The Slovak Spectator and you'll be able to read it in English for yourself.
