A "write off" is only good to you if you have to pay taxes...because you made a profit.
EVE made a "paper profit" of less than $8,000 in Q2...and only then by using over $3,000,000 of "growing/biological assets" [not yet sold] to get there.

Joke of it is....lots of the stuff growing in Q2 [and used to set up a small profit] is the stuff being "trashed" in Q3 due to infestation.
