Hello BCSC ;

 

I'm writing in regard to Encore Renaissance Resources . Encore was cease traded by the BCSC on 03/08/2010 for failure to file . Encore trades on the OTC as well as the Venture and the BCSC's cease trade has an exception in the cease trade that allows shareholders in Canada to sell their shares on the OTC as long as their investment dealer is registered in in British Columbia . The Alberta Securities Commission recently issued a cease trade for Encore as well , however it does not contain the exception that would allow trading on the OCT for those who hold shares in Canada .

 

Is it still possible to sell shares on the OTC ???

If you are a resident of British Columbia, you can sell your Encore Renaissance Resources shares on the OTC or through an investment dealer in British Columbia.

You cannot sell your shares if you are a resident of Alberta.
