WESTKAM GOLD APPOINTS NEW QP
WestKam Gold Corp. has appointed Robert Lane, MSc, PGeo, as the company's qualified person under National Instrument 43-101. Mr. Lane brings 22 years of experience to WestKam's exploration team.
"Bob knows WestKam's Bonaparte project well, and he is extremely knowledgable about the regional geology and mineralization," said WestKam's president and chief executive officer, Matt Wayrynen. "We look forward to his invaluable contributions and expertise as we advance the Bonaparte project."
Mr. Lane has worked as a research geologist for the Geological Survey of British Columbia, and for more than 10 years he served as the regional geologist with the Ministry of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources for the northeast-central interior region of British Columbia. He is currently the president of Plateau Minerals Corp., a geological consulting company based in Prince George, B.C.
