not a fail! progress not perfection

lots of pluses in this report, production and revenue gains are solid. This additional revenue is very beneficial adding real value to our asset base. New aquisitions a plus. Horizontal drilling opportunities a BIG plus. In the MDA comments i am particularly interested in the shift to merger and aquisitions opportunoties. All previous MDA have only referenced aquisitions so this is new and indicates external interest in our company. Yes we need more money, thats the very nature of the junior plays. The M&A may be the key to success here, i think intermediates have raised eyebrows and recognise exceptional value of forent. Overall, good job on execution, steady incremental gains in this environment is a win.

Yes, you are correct..steady incremental gains. At this rate it will take 32 years to reach 500boe. M&A you say? Here is what we know, FEN has little in the way of actual production, $5.6m in debt and enough upper management to choke a dozen donkeys..oh and did I mention an $8.5m market cap? Shareholders (myself included) would get the long hard pointy end of any "merger".

Want some cheese with that. seriously if thats what you believe it s time for you to sell. as you can see the cheap shares are being snapped up.

Yep, cheap shares are being snapped up. It's called bottom fishing. I'm a shareholder so, I'm allowed to complain, so that my problem. If you're happy with where this company is at, that your problem.

I admire your positive spin Phonse, but I hate it when people say the cheap shares are being snapped up.  After the news, I think I can put some of the money here  to better use elsewhere while they figure out what to do next.  I will take my lumps.   I couldnt even get the 4500 bucks I was looking for bud !  LOL!  Not exactly being "snapped up".  So I ...more

thanks BWB, i am an an optomist by nature hence positive comments. But, its more than simple optomism, i say measured confidence. I really appreciate your comments, i was hoping for share price advance too. Its almost christmas, time to fill the kids stockings. I get a little grumpy with the complaining because i would prefer to have that conversation directly with management. I still have faith ...more

okay phonse, the eternal optimist, please attempt to explain to me why they continue to carry all the G&A with these kind of mice-nut results and in this kind of oil price environment. I did not invest in this company to be a social program or charity case...look forward to your spin on the G&A situation. IMHO the willingness of this leadership to carry these levels of G&A suggest that ...more
