Reading between the lines,

This company is being patched up, wrapped up and heading to auction. This was originally a vehicle for Oil Exploration in Nova Scotia and even Monty was an afterthought. The writing was on the wall when they pulled out of NS. The upside is just no longer exists and I think most of us that have been around long enough would have never invested in this company as it is today. They have a few prospects to prove up to gain some traction and give the company some thing that remotely resembles value then, we're on the market and everybody goes their separate ways. I'd be more than please to get out what I put into this thing.

Amen BSV! If I can get out whole at this stage, I'm happy. BW's little venture has turned out to to a bit of a P0S IMHO, poor mgmt (little league) for starters. Of course this is a mere 'pimple' in BW's total portfolio so a little 'squeeze and pop' may be a short annoyance but doesn't really hurt him too much.
Comment by BayStreetVic on Dec 02, 2014 10:12am
Frankly, I think BW has forgotten all about this company. The man craves attention and since FEN pulled out of Nova Scotia all the twitter headlines naming FEN stopped, seems he's busy chasing Twitter tail. You're right about the pimple, it's on his well pampered butt. We'd be lucky if we can squeeze .10-.12c out of this. I had high hopes for the current management but it's ...more

i am surprised you think this aabout BW. my understanding is he is present at all board meetings. Even after his diagnosis he was present by video conference. BW and RW and BP and all the others remain committed to the goals and shareholders.i know what i want and i want it now! Sounds like a three year old. Quit wining, buy so more.

Buy more? You got it.. I'll pick some up at .02..That's where it's headed. The market reaction to the company is making your comments look foolish..

Fortunately i have had a bit of experience looking foolish. It helps me develope a sense of humor. Time will tell who looks foolish here. Thin trading such as this can confuse a few investors. Market swings of 6 to 8 million dollars caused by a few twats selling a handful of shares is not indicative of a companies intrinsic value. Hold your water and or pony up. Just sayin.
Comment by BayStreetVic on Dec 02, 2014 5:59pm
I wasn't calling you a fool, it was a poor choice of words on my part, My sincere apologies. The proper f word was frustration. Intrinsic value or not, all I'm concerned with is good-old market value. I truly hope this pans out, been waiting for 4 years now.
Comment by Phonse47 on Dec 02, 2014 7:47pm
apology accepted! And i understand your, my our frustration with share price/ quasi market value. Like you i am here a long time. Lets not loose sight of what DID happen. Great production, well executed infill drilling program, increased revenue in a declining price environment. New aquisitions and resource potential and highly rewarding horizontal drilling identified.Painfull increase in debt and ...more

This will be a career maker or breaker for young RW, only time will tell. This company is long overdue for some luck on the exploration front. I've been here awhile and over time have watched this company slowly (painfully) trend lower and lower.. Its not all managements fault, they just can't catch a break.

Thanks you two gents for keeping this conversation and exchanging of information above board and reasonalbe. I've been in for a while too and want nothing more than some progress. It must be hard for this company to as agressive as they'd like to be due to current market conditions.

It hasn't been easy let me tell you..

Thank you BSV and JS,  i had a great telephone meeting this week with RW and BP. Awesome guys, they took the time to answer my questions and concerns. I am more confident than ever, there is a plan and competent people at the helm to execute the plan. I am impressed at the commitment to return value to the shareholders, especially the early ones who invested at much higher SP than today! ...more

Well I for one can't wait. A well thought out strategic and transparent plan going forward for Forent Energy is something I have long prayed for and, I know potential investor need this info before making any Buy as well. All the silence from our multiple partners in Monty and the months of silence during the infill wells is driving me batty.
Comment by jacksprat on Dec 08, 2014 5:10pm
Agreed Vic...I was always told to know who is running the company you're investing in, if possible, and make your choices from there. Although I don't know RW personally, I know several people who do and all say he's a smart and has a veery good track record. My guess regarding the timing of the release of any info is due to the free fall of oil prices. It hasn't bottomed out yet ...more

Would like to know more about RW accomplishments. I have no doubts but, I can't find any public information about them. I guess I could call and ask but, I'm sure he has better things to do than talk to a whiny shareholder over the phone about himself.
Comment by Phonse47 on Dec 10, 2014 5:00pm
You should call him. communication with shareholders is important. I am thinking its time for a conservative leveraged investment!
