Fjordland finds nothing at Wheeler, awaits Woodjam hole

Mr. Victor Tanaka reports
FJORDLAND PROVIDES EXPLORATION UPDATE
Fjordland Exploration Inc. has recently completed drilling at the Wheeler Peak, California, property, and the Woodjam gold-copper project in British Columbia.
At Wheeler Peak, one hole was drilled 223 metres to test the property's vein system for bonanza-grade gold-silver mineralization. As no significant mineralization was intersected in the hole, the company will relinquish its acquisition option on Wheeler Peak as well as the nearby Star City property. The option on the Black Rock, Nevada, prospect, also located in the Walker Lane mineral belt, will also be terminated so Fjordland can focus on exploration in Canada.
At the Woodjam gold-copper porphyry property in central British Columbia, a 526-metre diamond drill hole was recently completed at the Takom zone. The hole is characterized by variable amounts of sulphides (trace to 5 per cent) throughout the entire hole. The purpose of the drill hole was to test coincident induced polarization and geochemical anomalies, as well as follow-up a single 314-metre core hole (05-48) drilled last fall that intersected 0.10 gram per tonne gold and 0.12 per cent copper over 82.6 metres; the hole ended in mineralization with increasing amount at depth.
Drill results from the Takom hole are expected by the end of next month. The company plans to resume the drilling program at the Takom zone in the first quarter of 2007.
Fjordland also has an option to earn up to an 80-per-cent interest in the Olympic-Rob copper-gold-uranium properties located in the Wernecke region in Yukon, Canada. The properties have defined drill targets which the company plans to test in 2007.
