Watay Power planned electrification timelineI was looking around for latest info on the electrification timeline and found it in the Watay Power 2023 OEB tariff application (https://www.wataypower.ca/updates/ontario-energy-board-issues-notice-of-hearing-2022). It doesn't mention Frontier in its filing but the Project Schedule shows the estimated energization dates of the Deer Lake and North Spirit Lake First Nation communities. These are respectively May 2024 and July 2024. These dates have slipped a little from their April estimates. Something to watch a year from now in the 2024 tariff application.
So based on this info I suspect that the Frontier property will be electrified, best case, in the summer of 2024, possibly eventually slipping into Fall 2024. I think this fits in with Frontier project timelines but not enough detail in the company material to confirm.
Regarding the road construction timeline I couldn't track down any info on Ontario govt websites.
These projects are out of Frontier's hands but hopefully Watay and the Ontario government get the urgency.
