RE:RE:Engineering, PFS, Production Operations - missed Targets

RE:RE:Engineering, PFS, Production Operations - missed Targets You’re bang on, Buffalo. Everyone piles on when it comes to not meeting time frames. But time frames have adapted as our knowledge of the deposit(s) has changed. I’m very happy that we paused the 2022/2023 time frame that we had when PAK was figured out. Imagine what kind of dilution it would have taken to develop PAK before we had SPARK defined… we would have been lucky to dilute at $0.80 to $1.20 CDN per share to get any sort of structure in place.

Oh wait… that wasn’t actually possible either, as we are still waiting for the road and power to come in, something largely beyond our control. And weren’t we largely working on DSO at that stage as opposed to finished chemicals?

So I guess a lot of the complaints basically come out to “Management should have guessed that SPARK existed and would multiply the resource figures, and they should have known that EV uptake would multiply the chemical values to a huge extent, and anticipated an Eastern European conflict that would further push the EV revolution… etc, etc.”. Successfully guessing all of that would have been nice, but I’m glad they’re not operating on guesses.

Lots of chatter about IR, and maybe there’s something to that but I’m really not sure. I don’t do that for a living. I’m as impatient as everyone else but I think I’m respectfully impatient… I’m not sure that patience can be equated with “embracing mediocrity”… it’s just patience. And acceptance that we can only control what we can control.
