VW…..the puzzle pieces are finally starting to fall in placeOne can surely bet that our Federal and Provincial governments have provided VW with commitments (that are not yet in the public domain) to ensure amongst other things, a faster rollout of raw materials to satisfy VW's needs. The bridge, the road, the power infrastructure etc. for Frontier will hopefully be accelerated. Additionally, permitting and environmental sign offs should hopefully accelerate and not get bogged down by the usual bureaucratic delays. One also has to believe that VW and Frontier are well underway with their "discussions" certainly for supply, but possibly also for some level of equity investment. I for one am delighted that it's VW (and not Tesla) that's coming to Ontario. I think a VW "arrangement" with VW would be far better than with Tesla. VW strikes me as being far more laser focused than Tesla right now. Much less potential volatility with VW.
