Are we investors or .... ?
Morning everyone!
This will most likely be my only post that I make. I just want to ask, what on earth everyone's problem is? The childish, belittling, name calling, etc that has been going on this forum is disgusting.
I, as I'm sure most, if not all of the posters here are casual traders with various amounts of experience. Sure some may be for more knowledgeable then others, but thats not to say we can't all learn or have actual human conversations, with facts, honest opinions and debates with one another.
I can assure you, that I have made far more mistakes then I'd like to admit. Particullary with DDC. I've held long term, I've changed my mind and sold. Attempted to understand the charts/analysis / day-ish trading and missed out on this weeks biggest gains. C'est La Vie. I'm learning and always will. Hence I've found this board, which I feel like has been of somewhat help.
I just can't understand why on earth we attempt to humiliate everyone in this thread. If you agree with someone - perfect! Way to go! If you disagree with someone - so be it! But how about we try to ask the questions that we need help with or clairification as to why/how you came up with said ideas.
Again, I've found this board by chance about 3 / 4 years ago. I've used it primarily for ddc and a few other stocks. Have never posted, but sat in the shadows. I've seen this bashing happen a few years ago. Many investors had enough of the childish behaviour, and created their own private forum elsewhere - I wish I followed.
I'm hoping this doesn't happen again here, as there are many of you posters, that I enjoy reading and learning from.

Welcome to social media where everyone is tough behind a screen and keyboard. Yes, you have to weed through the garbage to find some real news. One solution is to report bad behaviour and hope that the mods do something. Every online forum has these issues no matter what you do. It's people. You meet all kinds.

Well said. For the name calling, insulting, childish IDs, thank Stockhouse they designed the ignore button. Just press it and they will not bother you any more. Good luck on trading / investing.
