CALGARY, Sept. 17 /CNW/ - AeroMechanical Services Ltd. ("AMS or the Company") is pleased to announce that we have received our Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for the Airbus 319, 320, and 321 aircraft. The receipt of this STC is the culmination of the certification process that started almost one year ago and now allows AMS to commence and pursue installations on aircraft headquartered in Europe and meet the requirements of our contracts in China.
The Chinese contracts require a Verified Supplemental Type Certificate (VSTC) issued by China which is dependent on receiving an STC from the manufacturing country of the aircraft. The receipt of this STC now allows the Company to install on all aircraft currently under contract and should pave the way for several European Airlines to consummate contracts with AMS.
