RE: Question.....

RE: Question.....
Soooo Marc.....now you want my cooperation.

You'll recall, of course, that I'm branded one of the board 'whores' . A 'slagger' with a nasty agenda.... who's not to be believed at all cost.  And you had me on 'ignore' for my various and sundry transgressions....did you not?

What's brought on this great change of heart...ya' bored with no one but yourself to talk to,  or have you had an epiphany of some sort?

How be Marc....you do your research as I've suggested to all the others......that way you won't be risking your integrity by relying on the board pariah.  It's all public information and readily retrievable....just think of it as peeling an onion... one little layer at a time. You pride yourself on being knowledgeable on this grand subject of commercial aviation....just think of how much more satisfied you'll feel personally, and what a learning experience, when you are able to reveal for yourself what so many others have known for so long....that the majors have had all this data retrieval and communication capability for years.

By the way, I note that you like to refer to Mr Giguere of SkyService as 'Rob'....old pals are ya'....I guess he calls you Marc. Most of us are content to respectfully call him Mr. or Captain Giguere.

Next time you're quaffing an ale or two...or breaking bread with him ....if you're having trouble with your research.....get Captain Giguere to help you out. Hopefully he'll explain to you exactly how Air Canada was able to retrieve all that AFIRS type information for the last 15 years. He was the Executive Vice President of Flight Operations for the carrier ( he was ''retired'' during the resurrection from Creditor Protection ) and very knowledgeable....of course you'd have already known that.  Maybe if he's so inclined ...you can get him to explain to you how come he showed up on BNN with Mr Tempany to promote Aeromechanical. Do you suppose he's just a legitimately nice guy and wanted to be helpful......or was he just having a slow day at the office and thought he could get a free lunch....or was there something else to it??

Good luck 'Butch'....let us know how the search is going.....but don't start whining 'cause I've suggested you be a big boy and do your own homework.
