RE: Star Navigation files amended patent infringemGreat observation 'Fire'.......
''After reading an article like this, it makes it pretty clear as to why the AFIRS units are an attractive solution to the Chinese''.
I trust you did read the article....the main thrust of it dealt with the need to free up Chinese airspace from what has previously been an archaic, unwieldy and generally uncooperative military control. That's why they are working with the FAA to streamline, and improve the safety and capacity, of their airspace.
Or might I conclude that you're just simply cherry picking a few details in the story and salivating over those impressive forecasts of commercial and general aviation fleet growth.
Nice numbers, but haven't the remotest relevance to AFIRS at this point....surely you realize that......or are you just pipedreaming?
When you suggest they could ( presumably with AFIRS ) ''monitor and communicate with their airplanes in a cost effective and efficient manner--without having to set up an expensive and large scale infrastructure to support it''....what exactly did ya' mean? AFIRS has nothing to do with airspace and control or usage of same...I'll give you credit for knowing that.
The monitor and communicate for in-house puposes part is pretty straight forward....but what's with the 'without expensive and large scale infrastrucure to support it'? What did ya' have in mind.....what would that infrastructure be....there's an implied inference there that any other method of doing what AFIRS does requires a large and expensive infrastructure.
Help us out here.....what is it you're driving at.
