What Mr. Tempany did not say on BNNI thought Mr. Tempany did a good interview, being very careful with his wording as he should. One of his main points was that AFIRS is designed as a business tool rather than an emergency device. I was most interested into whether the streaming would have included the exact location of the aircraft at the time of the emergency but he did not confirm this one way or the other.
Given that technology in the cokpit (proper spelling not allowed) does give the exact location of the aircraft at all times, its difficult to believe this could not be incorporated into streaming technology.
