FLYHT presenting at AerospaceTechWeek.com Americas

FLYHT presenting at AerospaceTechWeek.com Americas

November 14-15, 2023, Atlanta.

"Building on the last 20 years of an evolving & established European event, Aerospace Tech Week Americas takes place every Autumn/Fall in Atlanta, USA. The international European event (Aerospace Tech Week Europe) takes place in its traditional annual Spring slot in Munich, Germany.

Whilst Aerospace Tech Week Europe offers a truly international audience, Aerospace Tech Week Americas enables a more focused opportunity for aerospace technology professionals from North, Central, and South America to meet in greater numbers.

This hotel-based conference and exhibition will offer an exclusive focus on the Americas’ developments for the commercial, defence and bizjet aerospace tech sectors. The annual shows bring you the latest technology developments in aircraft connectivity (air-to-ground and nose-to-tail), IoT, Big data, airline e-Enablement, flight operations software, fuel efficiency, weather data, MRO software, digital transformation, AI, M2M, regulatory, policy, technical SES and next-generation challenges for avionics, plus the testing systems that are used in the design, construction and maintenance of all commercial and military aircraft (both hardware and software).

The organisers of Aerospace Tech Week publish a leading magazine version of the event topics called Aerospace Tech Review. It also publishes the leading MRO publication – Aviation Maintenance Magazine"

Very interesting that FLYHT’s neighbour is MBS Electronic Systems GmbH, the company with which FLYHT has partnered to produce a 5G data loader solution. I expect that they are doing joint presentations of the new product when asked.

Teledyne is only two booths away. Wonder what they think about FLYHT's 5G WQAR, 4MCU format, intended to replace Teledyne's long-standing 2G 3G LTE in a five-minute swapout...

"AFIRS EDGE is a plug-in compatible 5G WQAR overnight replacement, available at the cost of a 2G/3G WQAR repair or upgrade."

Presentations by FLYHT's Willie Cecil and Murray Skelton.

Murray Skelton, Vice President of Business Development working at FLYHT Aerospace Solutions, Ltd.

Murray Skelton is the Vice President of Business Development for FLYHT Aerospace specializing in aircraft connectivity, eOperations and advanced aircraft data management. Having worked in aviation software and hardware for over 21 years, he has developed a range of solutions for flight operations, engineering management and later the IFE market including one of the worlds’ first commercial wireless IFE systems. Murray has worked with many leading airlines around the world implementing new solutions and improving operational efficiencies. With a background and qualification in IT and Telecommunications his move to specialize in aviation software in 2001 was well timed with the industry growth in new avionics technologies. Murray is currently residing in Edinburgh, Scotland (UK).

William "Willie" Cecil, Director, Aircraft Data & Edge Solutions working at FLYHT Aerospace Solutions, Ltd.

Willie Cecil is the Director of Aircraft Data & Edge Solutions at FLYHT Aerospace. Willie started his career as an avionics engineer working on army helicopters, but he has spent the last 25 years providing vision for avionics data and connectivity solutions including data applications that consume aircraft operational data. He is a pioneer in the field of wireless data collection. More than 15 years ago, long before big data and A.I. platforms became mainstream, Willie championed both automated harvesting of full-flight data using cellular technology and the use of full-flight data for maintenance and operations. At FLYHT, Willie is driving further innovation to serve airlines’ future needs with the use of 5G airport surface data comm, and A.I. or as Willie likes to call it “Actionable Intelligence”.
