You are right about one thing, that this has been a long time with not much to show for it. There are several people I have been in contact with who have been here for 20 (and 20+) years, so I am relatively new at only 14. Yes, we did have some fun 2013-14, where we made some profit but not enough to make up for our losses. The only beacon for me, and I expect for others, is that I have way more shares, post split, than I has at the peak. I am down, of course, but not by a lot. Them was good times to buy lots at the bottom during the pandemic. (Is it over yet?)
Where you are wrong, however, in thinking that this is still to do with flight safety. Most airlines, the big ones anyway, do not give a rat's bottom about safety (I have been in trouble beffore for using bad words. What are we, children?). If you had spoken to Bill you would have known that he realised that this was not going to save the day. This was his reason for developing the Edge. I did not see it myself until I watched the last interview he gave just before he died (GRHS). The Edge is about revolutionising the airline industry, and I do not mean just 5G. If you have not watched the Alpha Wolf interview, do have a look. The best interview he ever gave.
