Focus versus Northern (A must read)

Boy did I ever get youknowhats panties in a bunch! Can’t blame him as I’d be extremely anxious owning a company that is all smoke and mirrors such as NGC (such a typical story with mining exploration companies as the sector is rife with exploiters but short are real explorers).

NGC is not even a loser in this race; they are destined to go out of business IMO.

Where is Focus?

  1. 1. Grafoid’s water filtration system (look up Purafy) is being tested by the US department of defense and many other major players. Its time has come, and you can be part of it or begrudgingly hold onto fake news companies like NGC.

  1. 2. FMS just released its revised feasibility study for Lac Knife showing it has the best deposit (battery grade) in N.A. and likely the world.

  1. 3. Focus is actively seeking a major player to move things to the next level. After this happens you will see at least a 5-10-fold increase in SP.

  1. 4. The results of its second deposit, lac Tetepisca, look even more
impressive. It has the largest potential (battery grade) deposit anywhere in N.A. The first 2 on the list are outside N.A.

Where is NGC?

  1. 1. Not updating its 11-year-old feasibility study for Bisset Creek as it will only confirm the deposit is not high enough grade to develop.

  1. 2. Spending next to nothing on exploration (wait a minute...aren’t they an exploration company)?

  1. 3. NGC is however, doing the only things it can do as a graphite explorer without a deposit to explore......fake news and disastrous business decisions.

  1. -Fake news #1.... let's pretend we are planning to build a battery plant by announcing we are looking for a “suitable place to build”. FYI....no one in their right mind is going to hand over hundreds of millions of dollars to a mismanaged exploration company that does not even have a deposit to feed a battery plant. What a joke. Talk about putting the cart in front of the horse. You need the financing and/or partner to spend hundreds of billions then you look for somewhere to build it.

  1. -Fake news#2......let’s pretend we received a free lunch and are now a graphene play and buy into some unproven technology and pray that investors don’t ask the obvious......why would the owners of a technology that has such enormous potential sell it for next to nothing? Answer: because that’s what it is worth, basically nothing. If this graphene story was actually real, why has the market done nothing but drive down the NGC SP?

  1. -Fake news #3......and this is by far the worst for NGC shareholders. Hypothetical NGC board meeting, 9am sometime in the past. Ok people, we are a graphite exploration company without a worthwhile deposit to explore, what do we do?  CDO (chief deception officer) chimes in. We can buy a money losing mine that does not produce battery grade material and try and sell that story to misinformed investors. Keep in mind that graphite is so misunderstood that a majority of investors will not clue in. (The reality is that the mine is not just worthless it has negative value as it is losing much more money than it could ever recover).

Million-dollar question. How is it possible that with all the news of the desperate govs, battery manufacturers and car makers clamoring for N.A. supplies of graphite, NGC SP keeps dropping? The answer is simple. It does not produce battery grade material so is destined to remain a money loser and IMO eventually bankruptcy. The math is simple, unless the price of graphite for pencils skyrockets (not going to happen) then NGC will be driven out of business by this dog and pony show.

Putting faith in management is critical. Based on what has been happening (IMO) NGC is a company that you should be running from.

Don’t trust my opinion? Ok, let's see what the market thinks. Starting at the end of last year there has been an onslaught of news about the need to secure graphite supplies here in NA so you would expect that any credible graphite explorer would see its share price increase, and this is exactly the case for Focus (it shares price is up 450%). NGC? Down 45%. As if that is not proof enough that NGC is smoke and mirrors the short sellers can smell a rat from a mile away. Short positions increased from 65K in Jan to almost 1M today,

WOW! Short sellers are some of the most sophisticated investors and they do their homework, as they should, given that they are taking on a theoretically limitless potential loss. Take a second to consider the level of certainty one needs to have to short a company
that’s making all these graphite and graphene claims. If even one of them were true a short seller could lose everything overnight.

Case closed. The next few weeks and months will make it clear what the reality is for these two companies.

FYI youknowhat, your credibility sinks lower with every immature insult. Men stick to facts; children insult anyone they perceive as a threat.

The only reason you come to this board is out of desperation and foolhardiness. Nothing you say will prevent the collapse of NGC which is under way as we speak (thanks to the great equalizer AKA the market and of course the shorts).

Footnote on Bisset Creeks’ 11 year old FS (no kidding they are not pussuing it):

BISSET CREEK: (feasibility study from 2012, 11 years old???)

  • My first comment is that there is a reason the executive summary is absent oif any comments regarding the potential of the deposit.

  • +48 mesh: 48.4 % at 95.1% C o +80 mesh: 28.2 % at 94.5% C o +100 mesh: 4.8 % at 97.3% C o -100 mesh: 18.6 % at 94.8% C

  • Bottom line: nothing over 95% carbon.

  • “Table 1.3: Bissett Creek Flake Graphite Deposit Mineral Resources (Diluted) Indicated Inferred %Cg Cut-Off Tonnage”

Grade Cg% from 1.8 to 2.5. That is as remarkably low as lacknife’s 99.7% is remarkably high!!! (I am no engineer, but I do know that 2.5% Cg is not minable.)
