RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:This Peter H. Smith GuyI've always preferred operators like terry Macgibbon at fnx, gord mccreary at baffinland, or closer to home even Michael o'keeffe at champion. Compared to even legendary "financiers" like friedland I've found the former fail due to the inherent risk of junior exploration programs drilling dusters. The big financial disasters have historically been led by non technical people more familiar with finances, securities markets, and regulations than they are with geology or engineering. Unfortunately, it's not easy finding a profitable deposit, never mind a world class one. And unfortunately the potential returns are so enormous the industry attracts some shady characters. Pump and dumps, or "promotes" are far too common. Peter may not have enjoyed the success of macgibbon, mccreary,or o'keeffe but neither was he one of the dozens of greedy, shady, characters I've met over many years. As for the Fancamp properties, there are large genuinely prospective opportunities and that's all I can ask for of a junior. Do some exploration and we'll see where the chips fall. But , please, don't steal all the chips. Don't take the mine and leave me the shaft as one of my favorite characters in the industry, Ned Goodman, used to say. As Kermit sings, it's not easy being green. Green is the right vote.
