The volume has been extraordinary in the last few weeks and I have a suspicion that we are seeing internal trades of account holders moving holdings from one account to another.  Such as from an RSP account to a TFSA account. I've never experienced anything like that before yesterday. When I placed the order "at market" it immediately jumped up to a bid of $1.16 and an ask of $1.16.  Looking at the screen shot, I saw a bid and an ask for $1.16. Normally, one would see identical bids and ask when there is a halt, right?  So I checked for halts ---nothing.  I quickly cancelled that order and ...more

I'm patiently waiting on the passage of Bill C-18 and how that will benefit the small newspapers, in particular FP Newspapers and what bargaining power they'll have against Google and Meta.

If that number of 30% payment of editorial costs turns out to be true, well, that's not nothing thats for sure.
