 			With construction starting on another new #Nuclear reactor in #Egypt upwardly revised WNA data shows 436 operable reactors (392GW) 62 under construction (69GW) 114 ordered/planned (112GW)+ 326 more proposed (363GW) all requiring #Uranium fuel. Of the 62 new #Nuclear reactors under construction  the WNA estimates 24 will come online by the end of 2025 but more importantly given that new reactors require loading about 3 years worth of #Uranium fuel which is usually ordered at least 3 years prior to start-up the operators of the 20 new reactors to start up in 2027/2028 need to order mined #U3O8 now so it can be converted, enriched and fabricated into fuel rods ready for loading by the projected start-up date. For a quick estimate U can use 500K lbs #U3O8 per year per 1000MW so a 1200MW unit starting in 2027 will need roughly (1200MW/1000MW) X 500K lbs x 3 = 1.8 Million lbs #U3O8 ordered this year.
