RE: Visited the gal folks at PDAC yesterday

RE: Visited the gal folks at PDAC yesterdayRob...you will also see that gold moves up and down..but the overall trajectory is upwards. Keep in mind too that is you count in inflation..the gold price in today's dollars compared to the gold price when it peaked a couple of decades ago is actually half. eg.say in the 275 dollar range...if this were back in the 80's or whenever the last peak was. And there have been alot of changes. I see this as a long term play..who knows we may have a new naiscent Tiffanies.or Birks or Faberge or Cartier in the works. You are getting the gold,,but you are also getting the jewelry retailing business...as a free bie at these prices...Sort of like the McDonalds sure they sell Hamburgers..but they are sitting on a huge real estate fortune, whether they sell another Hamburger or hot dog...again. This is my personal take on the situation. Also right now the Canadian dollar is doing very nicely even against the pound and the Euro...and of course the US dollar...and this company is in Ireland. This is not a get rich quick scheme I dont believe..esp as they have put years and years and years to get to this point, and millions of dollars so it isnt a fly by night thing by any means. The quality of the jewelry that I saw, and they only had a few pieces left to show...presumably from their test mkt..was very, very high quality..sort of the type of thing that I would expect to see on an Antiques Road show...say fifty years from now..if Antiques Road show is still around. I would love to buy the jewelry, but given the share price right now..I can purchase a nice holding in shares of the company for both the gold and for the retail and internet sales..both...And later yes I will go back and get some jewelry....BUT I want an in on the business...Check out SP of say Tiffanies..etc...or Cartier...if they are on the open mkt....or a really upscale jeweler...that is listed in the mkt. Also I find outside of N AM an interesting place to invest in..and here you can buy in w/o the extra premium of an ADR...etc. I could see this company advertising in Country life..and selling its product at a duty free store..etc...and maybe the branding will be similar eventually to a Gucci. etc. And Ireland has done an incredible turnaround in its economy..so there is money to purchase this product. These are just a number of thoughts on my part...etc. but specificallly...they are I believe aiming for the top tier in quality/luxury goods and the branding will bring a certain cache. So apart from gold..is it up..or is it down...there is the jewelry part. And they continue to explore. Note as well that this is Irelands first gold mine. Do you recall what happened re Share price for Canada's first DIAMond mine????? So it will be interesting to watch this company. Also do note that the company has to be introduced by a third party brokerage to the London AIM..and thus you will have a brokerage entity that is also quite interested in getting the word about I would think. The targets for a number of goals are in the very near term as well. So I would look further down the road for stearage..on this one..and I do not see this as a quick in and out..although some will likely trade thus...I see this as a keeper for its long term potential, which is being realised in the very near future. I do know they will sell locally in Ireland..and over the net..as to what their other plans are...they have not divulged...so please keep in mind that some of the directions the company could go...are just musings on my part re the potential ..etc..and not the company's. There are some warrants that will be exercised in June and that will likely impact on the SP temporarily..or maybe not..given the AIM listing in the next month or so. I do not see this as a flash in the pan....but more like that mythical pot of gold.
