RE: RE: RE: RE: Back to where we belong!

RE: RE: RE: RE: Back to where we belong!I've been lurking in read-only mode for about a year and a half andfinally decided to register.  I have what most of you would probably consider a small position with GAP and I have high hopes despite realizing it could turn to nothing.  It won't kill me to lose it and I am patient and will let it sit long term.  Like the saying goes, if you don't shoot, you don't score.

Anyway, regarding the thread I am replying to... I don't understand most things to do withstocks and a lot of the talk here is over my head.  Why would someone buy 500 shares to just drop the price to 11.5c?  Is it a good sign and a bad sign at the same time?  Good as in someone believes in this stock and wants to accumulate over time at low prices, bad as in the potential frustration it causes other investors (pushing them to get fed up and sell)?  Sorry for the newbie question.

Btw, I appreciate the time and effort people put into posting here.  Not saying I'm overly proficient in filtering out the noise, of course.  :-)  This board is not nearly as bad as some other ones I look at though.

Quick story to lighten the mood around here:  Way before I knew about Pharmagap, I was sitting in the Ottawa airport and noticed that Rod Bryden was beside me.  I think he was just in the process of unloading the Senators.  Anyway, a bunch of teenage girls were giddy and wanted a picture with him (he gracefully obliged).

Quick story 2: A friend of mine used to jam (play music in a band) with Rod Bryden in his Systemhouse days (proving that he is human :-)).
