RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: I AM OUT

RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: I AM OUTWR, just on the face of your quote from Ron, unless there was previously some discussion of fees, it seems Ron was offering to do you a favour by circulating your article to shareholders. Don't you writers charge advertisers based on the number of subscribers? Ron would have been increasing your circulation and visibility. For that he would likely have expected you to be grateful. I know I would have. To give you some benefit of the doubt, if you are just starting out in business, I can somewhat see how the misunderstanding might have occurred. Most people are not mind readers, so if you expect to get paid for something you are proposing to do, you need to discuss it ahead of time and make sure that everyone understands the deal.

During a long ago recession, I heard someone tell a businessman, that was hurting, to just send invoices to every company that he could get addresses for, and enough of those companies would pay the bill that his cash flow problem would be solved. In this case Ron is handling shareholders' money and he is not free to mail a cheque to just anyone who sends an invoice. It seems to me, from the little information you have provided, that Ron handled this correctly.

Possibly you could chalk this one up to a misunderstanding and try to work something out on a future project.

"Thanksfor your continued support.Yes, we would gladly circulate your write-upto shareholders, etc. so pleasesend me a copy once you’ve got somethingtogether."

I did my work based on this statement by Ron Schmitz...

...andthen 3 months later after constant promotion through my different mediaoutlets they reply that they don't pay for articles and there never wasan intention to pay.
