RVC / GCU

RVC / GCURichfield Ventures was bought out by New Gold earlier this year for $500 + million dollars for 4.1 Moz of gold at 1.0 g/t au in B.C. for their Blackwater deposit. If you look at the drill results of RVC and GCU they are extremely similar and both deposits are similar as well (despite the obvious geographical differences). Most of RVC's holes averaged 200 m @ 1 - 1.5 g/t au and 300 m of 1.0 g/t au just like GCU's. Within weeks of RVC's resource estimate they were bought out implying a value of $125 / oz for their gold. If GCU were to prove up 5 million ounces at Springpole they could expect a $600 million market cap or $4.80 a share and that's by year end.
