Next NR should be soon

Next NR should be soon

News should be out soon, if we keep up the unofficial 2 week NR schedule.  With 50,000 m of drilling planned (and already partly executed), we ought to continue receiving a steady stream of information over the next couple of months, provided that forest fires don't hamper our efforts.

I hope those infill and step out holes continue to impress as the previous ones have... should give a tremendous boost to the revised NI 43-101 coming out in Q1 of 2013 and put us even closer to the analysts' target of 7+ million ounces confirmed in the ground.

Aside from macro forces, I think our sp took a steady south-east trajectory because many investors were expecting much higher "measured" numbers from the first 43-101, back in early 2012, even though, quite frankly, the initial 43-101 was rather positive in and of itself.  Nonetheless, the intent of this impending 43-101 is to move more gold from the inferred category, into the measured category.  Given the drill results thus far, I am confident that we are on pace to do exactly that.  Then we can chase that with a feasibility study to assess the economic viability of the project; as an open pit mine, the cost of extraction should be relatively cheap, even when accounting for issues surrounding the lake.

As for issues pertaining to Native land claims, that too seems to be making good progress.  Management was prudent to engage in discussions at the very outset with the various Bands and include them in the process because doing so was an inevitability anyway.  It appears as though the Natives hold management and the company in fairly high regard and will continue to work together to reach mutually feasible contractual arrangements to facilitate further progress on the development of the project.

In sum, the future appears bright for GCU.  I've quadrupled my position in 2012 and these share prices are enticing me to buy even more as I free up cash.  Personally, I'd rather see slow and steady share price increases, rather than hyperbolic rises, in order to ensure share price stability for the long run (and mitigate price volatility due to day traders, shorters, etc.  Hopefully we can keep the company's progress in stealth mode until we're ready to announce to the world that we can confirm a whack load of gold in the ground!)  Think about it - even if we gained only
.05 per week in our share price, in a few months, we'd be looking at a 50% increase from today's prices.  Slow and steady will win the race - of course, if or when a buy-out occurs, then I would glady invite a bidding war to erupt to knock this one out of the park. :)   For now, let's just try to climb back over the $2.00 mark and then set our sights much higher than that.

Cheers,

Barisian
