Continuing research.

I have had a number of people send me suggestions of things to be considered in my analysis of of GCU's valuation.

I think some of them have some strong merit.

If you have any ideas please forward them to me as a private message. I'll put a list together and post it. Maybe we can work on the valuation and educate our shareholders and interested parties.

The suggestions that I have received are insightful and do add much to the discussion to the valuation of GCU.   As everyone is in agreement that we are no longer an exploration company, and that we are now a development company, I will focus exclusively on that area of valuation.   If we decide to go into production, I will revisit valuations for near term producers.    I will ...more

Hey Scout:   We have also not assigned any value or given any consideration whatsoever to the REE play in Malawi (although I concede that it is difficult - if not impossible - to do so at this stage of the game, given the very limited information that we have); nor has any consideration been made for the Gallium holdings, etc.  I only mention it because for as much as Springpole is ...more

The Malawi project is sure to add value in the not to distant future.    Once the summer drill program is completed and more extensive metallurgy tests are completed we could see the project go straight to a PEA.    But until then, springpole dominates the valuation of GCU. That goes for all of the other properties that GCU has.  If the summer drill program and metallurgy ...more

The PEA I just mentioned is for the Malawi project. We will also get a springpole PEA in early 2013.

A big thank you to Scout and others here. I'm still long and strong after a few years, and thanks to all of you, I'm also patient.

Ambitious research, Scout. How do you plug into your formula factors such as geopolitical risk (or lack thereof in Vancouver), highly friable or (which saves costs), a high-grade core (which could pay for bootstrapping startup costs), management (which there is a shortage of worldwide in the mining industry and might come under contract with the deal), and the unusual silver credit...and the ...more
