I know it is not fair to compare the two companies 100%.  But they are at $5 and we our at .16Cents. We do have 5Moz of gold and the potential to double that according to the head geologist.  Why not $1, why not .75 cents, why not 50 cents if that could happen I would travel the world to  give Quinton the biggest bear hug. My only hope right now it that Moriarity is correct in ...more

Ok Torontonian52, how about another thought. Perhaps there could be some people (investors) out there, who are determined to keep GCU down, until there is a major shakeup in the entire Board of Directors of GCU. I could be wrong, but it sure looks like somebody is trying to keep the stock down. Who wouldn't like to see GCU at $5!!! That said, I'm one of those people, who believes that a ...more

So many words for rubbish. How high is the price of gold? Wht is GCU's PEA based on? No management in the world can develop it at current gold prices. And btw, when gold was higher and before the crash started, Akiko stepped down and they hired mining people. The Springpole deposit needs a higher price of gold. Then it will be reevaluated and then the management will do what is necessary to ...more

Schill: "Wht is GCU's PEA based on"? Have you read the PEA report?? "No management in the world can develop it at current gold prices". At least start with a land survey for the road into the Springpole gold deposit. This would be a great boost of confidence for the shareholders of GCU. "And btw, when gold was higher and before the crash started, Akiko stepped down and ...more

Sorry? It was a pleasure to read this well argued comment.

All well argued and nobody knows this issue better than Shill and a handful of others. That said, it's all irrelevant because something has changed. No, it's not just irrelevant. it's total bull feathers or more like intellectual chicken choking. In fact, everything anyone is saying on this board is total bull feathers. Off base, speculation and nothing to do with a changed reality ...more

Peace, brother. "A legend in your own mind!" Hey, I resemble that remark....   To be more clear, I'm saying that 5 years ago there were established metrics in this market for what a junior was worth based on grades, indicated vs. inferred, ease or difficulty of production and ore recovery, etc. Well, post 2012, that market disintegrated and with it all logic. The producers ...more

Schill, who you callin' illigitimate? I met my daddy once. Seriously, I respect your opinion, even though it's dated and atherosclerotic. I'm not reading this board because I'm bored but because I think metals and mining are going to turn around sooner than expected once this whole obsession with when the Fed starts raising rates passes. And if I'm wrong, stop by the poor ...more
