Then, since it is a foundation, they can profit from the increase in sp of this donation, tax free. The same is done all over with many other. The Gate foundation is just an example. Other then imminent increase in share price, i don't see the advantage of doing this, except for 2022 tax report on personnal sprott's declaration. But who knows ! Why would he give this away to his foundation if GER would be going bankrupt ? Makes no sense. Anyway, we shall see....
