"Goldgroup Issues Clarifying Press Release (excerpt)
Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - June 23, 2023) - Goldgroup Mining Inc. (TSX: GGA) (OTC Pink: GGAZF) (BMV SIX: GGAN.MX) ("Goldgroup" or the "Company") announces that as a result of a review by the British Columbia Securities Commission ("BCSC") of the Company's Annual Information Form for the year end December 31, 2022 ("2022 AIF"), the Company is issuing the following news release to clarify and retract certain disclosures with respect to the Company's Cerro Prieto project and San Jose de Gracia project.

The Company would like to clarify that the mining key performance indicators ("KPIs") in the Company's Management's Discussion and Analysis for the period ended September 30, 2022, year ended December 31, 2022 and period ended March 31, 2023 under the heading Financial And Operational Highlights have not been reviewed by the Company's qualified person as stated and should not be relied upon. The Company is in the process of reviewing its internal procedures regarding qualified person requirements to ensure all future required disclosure are appropriately reviewed by a qualified person.

In addition, the disclosure in the 2022 AIF has triggered the requirement to file a technical report for the projects under s.4.2 (1)(f) of NI 43-101 and the Company would like to state that information in the 2022 AIF is not supported by a compliant NI 43-101 technical report, contrary to NI 43-101, and that the information should not be relied on until it has been verified and supported by a technical report ...."


Wow the vote at the AGM was allowed to proceed June 28th. The signatures of the documents in question were reelected. The funny thing is that the shareholders who mailed in their ballots likely did so prior to this press release!
