RE: BUYout $1.38- $4.00

RE: BUYout $1.38- $4.00

Without getting too much into numbers the aquiring company is the most important factor here

Osisko is our likely suitor followed by Agnico & I am Gold [all neighbours]

Osisko is just not healthy right now. They have recently revalued their reserves & I understand they are about to do it again. They were the 7th most shorted company on the TSXV a few days ago

My fear is a takout this year would turn $1.38 into .75 very quickly

Agnico however is a different story

Bottom line is any offer under $2.00 would get very little support from shareholders

https://goldexplorers.wordpress.com/2011/05/14/nl43-101/

This was posted back about 1 month ago which was very accurate in estimating 4 million oz / average price of $80 / oz our SP should be $1.93

With a rising gold price, any offer could not be finalized for at least 6 months {we have no M&A committee even formed]
I would suggest a POG above $2000 / oz would all support a starting bid above $2.00 may even be low

Lastly an initial 43-101 above 4 million oz would almost certainly guarantee we have "world class" [above 5 million oz in reserves] a certainty. Many suitors would emerge for a prize that large in the safest gold producing sector in the world

There will eventually be a large premium paid to aquire GBB as everything is in our favor & hopefully stays that way

I am not Taylor & hope to see his response soon as well as many others. It would be nice to get a large sample size to judge the sentiment of the blog members here

Just my humble opinion
