RE:RE:RE:GIGA travelling into the .40+ range this week ?

I think a combination of factors makes this a competitive project in todays environment. Some of them are:

  1. Size. Very few class 1 projects are larger than this.
  2. Open pitable deposit with comparatively easy access/low road building costs etc.
  3. World class metallurgy. Maybe the biggest advantage, this project can generate some of the highest grade Ni concentrate in the entire world. A lot of people overlook this.
  4. Safe jurisdiction that promotes electric mobility etc, could make the permitting process a bit more straightforward compared to other mining projects.
  5. On the same note, nickel projects in other parts of the world have a lot of political trouble (ore bans in Indonesia, suspension in the Philippines etc, not to mention the DRC for cobalt), making Canada safe, stable and attractive in comparison.
  6. Economics are good compared to HPAL projects, which is the real competition in terms of producing class 1 products. The company can get a better price for producing sulphate, improving margins.
