lol!.. well that is a good story too!.. yes i know.. remember well buying the Northern Miner magazine back in 69 in Fort Nelson and reading thru it so entralled with all the company news !! lol
Also... back in the days up to about the 90's most newspapers published the stock market lists in the back and i would buy a paper every day i could just to follow along! that was how i got my market updates!
But the problem with that approach was exactly what you described... by the time that company news development was announced and in print and available to the general pubic it was too late... the run was already well underway.
Yeah.. old memories for aure :-)
BUT.. thankfully i escaped the online poker sites!.. but then gave wayy too much money to the beer parlours and lounges ( eventually quit that too) so it seems in one way or another there are a lot of traps set to seperate us from our money!
